Stew
1 - 3 LBS. CHICKEN OR STEW MEAT
¼ CUP OIL
1 PACKAGE JACOB'S COUNTRY ROUX MIX
1 - 4½ OZ. CAN BUTTER BEANS
1 - 4½ OZ. CAN MUSHROOMS

In a 5 quart pot, pre cook meat in oil.  Add 3¼ cups hot water.   Bring to a boil and add 1/2 pack of Jacob's dry seasoning, spice pack (use spice pack to taste), and drained cans of beans and mushrooms.  Mix 1/2 cup of roux into 4 oz. hot tap water and add to pot.  Cook uncovered on medium for 30 - 45 minutes.  Add more spice/seasoning if desired.  Serve over rice.
