A Sauce Piquant recipe using Jacob's country roux mix is a quick and easy way to enjoy a classic Cajun dish.
In 5 quart pot, pre cook meat in oil. Add 2¼ cups of hot water and 14 oz. jar of spaghetti sauce. Add 1/2 pack dry seasoning and spice pack (use spice pack to taste). Mix 1/3 cup of roux into 5 oz. of hot tap water, and add to other ingredients. Cook covered 45 minutes or until meat is tender. Add more seasoning if desired. Serve over rice.
